Patients Against Pain takes the second
place prize in this year's competition.

When Patients Against Pain opened in May,2006 owner Arthur made sure that the medicine they provided was high quality at low cost. Located in Hollywood where

dispensary “competition” and presentation seems to be the overwhelming emphasis Arthur saw things from a different perspective, which is that patients shouldn’t have to be used as pawns in the interest of profit, patients should be utilizing dispensaries. As family

members sit around a coffee table and discuss, “The glamour is in the medicine, not the bling.” It's as if every patient gets to temporarily be a part of the family. They invest in providing the best for their

patients and their welcoming, cultured, family oriented environment is what distinguishes Patients Against Pain from many of their so-called competitors.

And to the contrary their set up is modest yet classy. There is a lay back low key vibe as you walk down the stairwell patientsAgainstPain_5.jpg with the ornate painted fishes following you down to the check in desk you are happily greeted by the P.A.P staff , there is a comfortable waiting area where you will find at least one of the staff members who are more like family than employees are friendly and attentive as they walk

you to the “pharmacy” . P.A.P has one of the largest and healthiest selections in the state, and you have a choice both traditionally grown or organically cultivated. O.G. Purple Kush, O.G. God’s Gift, O.G. Sour Kush, O.G. California Orange, Heaven, Church, O.G. Master Kush, Diablo, P.A.P Hundred Dollar O.G.

Kush, and the list goes on, and on. The concentrate selection is amazing, Kiefs, Hashes, Frozen Tri-Chomes, and a freezer full of various edibles. Again the only thing that could surprise you more is the compassionate prices.

Having a medical background in their family also has prompted Patients Against Pain to donate to the local children’s hospital. But most of their focus goes to providing quality medicine at a more than reasonable price, and continuing to keep their doors open to patients in hopes of helping through healing. The future has a lot in store for Patients Against Pain.
