The 420 Highway Pharmacy

Patients Helping Patients - They are a group of patients dedicated to helping patients (affected by California Health & Safety Code 11362.5) access their alternative choice of medication in a safe, healthy, friendly and supportive environment. They offer free gifts with every donation, such as glass pipes or High Times magazines and I'd also like to mention that they have an ATM machine available for patients to use, with NO transaction fee or service charge attached to it.

The 420 Highway Pharmacy is located in Gardena.  They are conveniently located on Normandie Avenue, just off the 405 Freeway.  In fact, the North-bound 405 Freeway on-ramp/off-ramp wraps around their building.  Normandie Avenue is also the first exit off the 405 Freeway, just north of the 110 Harbor Freeway.

The 420 Highway Pharmacy offers around 30 different assorted strains, from good low-priced organic herb to more exotic varieties.  Besides their wide selection of medical marijuana strains, they also carry some of the best medical marijuana edibles around.  They have several exclusive products that are well worth trying, including the most potent brownies and Canna-banana bread that I've ever tried.  If you are looking for concentrates, they have several types of hash available, and they also carry Buddha's Ear Wax honey oil.  And they have a nice collection of glass pipes and bongs, that are actually reasonably priced.

They also have a VIP Vaporizer/Smoking Room available to members of their collective.  It resembles a friend's living-room, with a leather sofa, TV set, and coffee table, with Volcano Vaporizer set in the center of it along with free bottled water to every patient who comes into their friendly establishment.    
The 420 Highway Pharmacy is a real "Mom and Pop" club, in the true sense of the word.  The dispensary and collective is managed by Harold and his beautiful wife Janet, who are both patients and have personally received amazing health benefits from medical marijuana.

Harold and Janet have each experienced serious health issues, illness, and suffering, and have overcome and persevered with the assistance of marijuana.  That enables them to have a closer perspective and understanding of other patients' difficulties, and has motivated and encouraged them to create a supportive environment where patients can meet, socialize, and medicate. Janet suffers an unusually painful and progressive neurological condition known as CRPS - Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.  Following surgeries on both of her feet, she was left with extraordinary pain that spread from her feet to nearly her entire body.  The pain became so debilitating, that she could barely leave her house, and she became bed-bound and dependent upon a wheelchair for approximately ten years.  But with sheer will, determination, prayer, hope, and with the help of medical marijuana, she was able to wean herself off the myriad of prescription medications that she realized hadn't really been helping her, and now she's found a new life in dedicating herself to helping others like herself.

One of her favorite quotes from the Bible is: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."  And she's quick to point out that she sincerely believes in treating other patients the way that she would want to be treated.  

Harold and Janet are joined by a small, close, tight-knit group of patients and volunteer employees that help staff the dispensary, and keep everything running smoothly.
