| Armentano has drafted testimony for presentation before Congress and has also testified before federal agencies on drug policy issues. He has debated Drug Czar Barry McCaffrey and former Vice President Dan Quayle in print. His public policy writing has been featured in a pair of anthologies: Policy Papers Prepared for the 11th International Conference on Drug Policy Reform (Drug Policy Foundation Press, 1997) and Drug Abuse: Opposing Viewpoints (Greenhaven Press, 1999). He is a frequent contributor to Ideas on Liberty, a monthly journal published by the Foundation for Economic Education.
Armentano has been a regular columnist on the staff of High Times Magazine since 1995, and also served as a film and video critic for the Washington D.C. weekly arts and entertainment magazine, Scene. His work has also appeared in the national film magazine, Creative Screenwriting.
Armentano presently resides in California, where he is editing a book, and working on several freelance projects. He is originally from New England. |
