Dear Friends,
We lost another wonderful activist, artist and poet last week.
Claire Burch was one-of-a-kind. Many of you have seen this small woman with a big intellect, always with a video camera in hand, documenting the goings on in the medical marijuana community, anit-drug war events, street people, People's Park, James Baldwin, etc. . We recently had a review of her wonderful film, California Chronicles of Medical Marijuana with great footage of other heroes who have passed, Dr. Tod Mikuriya, Brownie Mary, Virginia Resner, to name a few, in the Spring 2009 issue of the West Coast Leaf.
Claire will be missed.
