Since its opening in 2007, Oaksterdam University has been the topic of
much debate in the media. The ground breaking school has been featured
on Fox News, CNBC, MSNBC, NPR, G4 TV, Current TV, National Geographic,
as well as countless local news stations.

Sensing the turning tide on the perception of cannabis in the
United States, after visiting Oaksterdam University, CNBC decided to do
a complete program dedicated to the cannabis industry. Oaksterdam was
the main focus of the program. |
|
National Geographic was the next media company to drop by Oaksterdam. Airing an hour on the Cannabis industry called "Marijauana Nation", this was a very positive and popular program. National Geographic would later come back to Oaksterdam to film an entire show.

|
On a lighther note, Doug Benson and Alison Hayslip came by to re-visit Oaksterdam. This was Doug Benson's first trip back to Oaksterdam since filming "Super High Me". Doug was a class act and a joy to be around during filming.

Richard Lee participated in a Live satellite interview on Geraldo At Large. The opposition, for some reason, is Billy Baldwin.
|
|
Days after the debate on cannabis, Geraldo decided to send camera crews
to Oaksterdam. This segment got prematurely truncated due to breaking
news. |
|
Due to the popularity of the segment, Geraldo At Large decided to run a
full segment days later. Part 1 features a rather profound appearance
by former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura. |

Part 2 of the Geraldo At Large Segment.
